Reluctantly we ordered something else which was ok but not what we were wanting.Our annoyance was compounded when I saw that the meat and veg on the carvery was still out at 9.20. I could not believe his attitude and was about to cancel the drinks I had ordered but was told that other food on the menu was still available. I pointed out that everything was still out but he said that staff started clearing everything away at 9. The man who was serving me, who I think was the manager, said the carvery had finished at 9pm I looked at my watch and it was one minute past 9. When I eventually was served I ordered a couple of drinks and asked about the carvery. Someone was being served and it took ages for them to be served. When after several minutes looking at the menu waiting for someone to come and take our order I decided to go to the bar as we both just wanted the carvery. After a few minutes standing at the door asked someone if we just sat down and told to find a table. Pleased to see carvery and someone was being served. ![]()
